| The 'radio buttons' at
the top of the table select which animal's color codes
will be calculated, starting with the other two animals' color
codes. This tool can be used to predict pup colors if two adults' colors are specified. It can also be used to determine the color codes a second adult should be designed with or dyed to produce a pup with the desired colors, when bred with a first adult with specified colors. If an 'impossible' desired pup color is specified (i.e. when it is impossible to get a desired pup color starting from a specified adult) the closest possible color for the second adult is calculated and the pup colors are automatically adjusted. This tool does not account for the random factors introduced in the breeding code, and the calculations are set up for 100% markings. Use this tool at your own risk. |
