I have finally posted the updated schematics. Links on the main page. The first CPU board is completely wired. The interface to the I/O board is completed and it's time to finalize the first I/O board and wire it. Then it's time to run some code. I have started digging into the Microsoft MASM 6.11 to try using it to generate the binaries. Other tools will be looked at also. The main software problem is adapting tools intended for DOS based development to a ROM based stand-alone environment. For whatever reason, there is a severe lacking in 8086 based Assemblers that spit out a simple ROM image in an Intel HEX file.
